Where: Rodeo Cinema, 2221 Exchange Ave

MAKING ITS WORLDWIDE VHS PREMIERE AT RODEO CINEMA - Sunday, February 16th @ 7:30pm!

A bizarre retro comedy shot entirely on VHS, VHYes takes us back to a simpler time, when twelve year-old Ralph mistakenly records home videos and his favorite late night shows over his parents’ wedding tape. The result is a nostalgic wave of home shopping clips, censored pornography, and nefarious true-crime tales that threaten to unkindly rewind Ralph’s reality.

…And don’t forget to join us in the lobby for tape swap, collector showcase, and all ‘round VHS fun 5:30pm Sunday, February 16th!!!!

A SUPER-SPECIAL PRESENTATION BY VHS & CHILL, RODEO CINEMA, AND OSCILLOSCOPE!!!!

It's finally happening! VHSANDCHILL is hosting it's very first RETRO TAPE SWAP! We want you to bring your tables and your best retro gear to swap and sell! VHS, Beta, Laserdisc, Video Games, everything and anything!

This will be on Sunday, Feb 16th starting at 5pm. We'll set up in the Rodeo Cinema lobby right before their evening screening of the new comedy VHYES! The film is a normal showing at normal pricing but if you haven't heard of it, it's a bizarre retro comedy, shot entirely on VHS and Beta, that follows 12-year-old Ralph as he accidentally records home videos and his favorite late night shows over his parents' wedding tape.

Let us know on here whatchu got and whatchu wanna bring! Tell your friends! Share this event to anybody you think might be interested!

SEE YOU ALL THERE!

Well, I am hoping that "Retro Tape Swap" was a successful event! I know that you guys have worked hard for this event and you have exerted so much effort for this. At the same time, it was a good thing that it was done in Rodeo Cinema; everyone loves going there especially if they want to watch classic films. It also became a meeting place for people who want to enjoy the vibes of the past! Well, I don't see any bad reason why we should never look back! By the way, I hope that Rodeo Cinema will make more events like this since it seems like everyone have liked it!
