On Thursday, December 14th, pour yourself a Scotchka (seriously, don't do this), put on your best Tommy Wiseau style, and join us! 51st Street Speakeasy and VHSANDCHILL are ridiculously excited to be showing the cult sensation 'THE ROOM' from eccentric filmmaker Tommy Wiseau!!! Yes, you heard that right, a movie showing at the Speakeasy. Don't worry about it. This isn't any normal movie showing. A proper showing of 'THE ROOM' is an experience in itself. Not unlike 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show', audience participation is a MUST! Whether you're yelling at the movie to "FOCUS" or quoting along with some of the best dialogue ever put to film, being loud and having fun is absolutely mandatory! Ha h...a ha ha... For over a decade, people have been holding wild midnight screenings that have taken the country by storm!
