THE ERNEST FILM CLUB is BACK! Knowwhatimean???

We're teaming up with the OKLAHOMA FILM EXCHANGE! Make sure to follow them for more fun shenanigans!

Now that the ERNEST FILM CLUB is back, and this month we're going to be talking about something that's absolutely blowing my mind!

This chronicles the adventures of Ernest P. Worrell (Jim Varney) as he trains to be America's first 'Spalshtranaut' destined to become the very first person to conquer the Splash Mountain attraction at Disneyland. Ralph Story, veteran news anchor and his team are determined to cover the momentous event by every angle possible.

This was once considered LOST MEDIA as it was a promotion advertisement that was aired on cable back in 1989. I honestly didn't know this existed until this month. So, the opportunity to discuss 'NEW' Ernest content in 2025, is just amazing!

We'll be screening some classic Ernest commercials and TV episodes before the meeting, so come early and hang with us!

"It's a small step for humankind, but a big old leapfrog for Ernest," - Ernest P. Worrell

**PRESENTED ON ORIGINAL VHS IN GLORIOUS PAN & SCAN**

You can get adult beverages and snacks from the nearby CORE4 BREWERY, THE STUDY, and OKCIDER!

The Oklahoma Film Exchange is located within the historic Paramount Building at 701 W Sheridan Ave, Oklahoma City, OK.

When: Friday, November 21st, 7:00pm
Where: THE OKLAHOMA FILM EXCHANGE (inside the Paramount Building), 701 W Sheridan Ave, OKC, OK

2025 is here and VHSANDCHILL OKC is resurrecting one of our classic screening series from days past - VHS GRINDHOUSE is back! Now we're taking the VHS party to the Oklahoma Film Exchange! This one was one of the trailers of a previous screening and looked absolutely wild!

VHS GRINDHOUSE is a series of classic films that may or may not be the greatest films ever made! This VHS delights are pulled straight from the VHSANDCHILL OKC collection. Movies that DESERVE their day in court for the crimes committed TO them or BY them! These films will scream from the heavens the madness that is their message!

A team of female agents must stop the scheme of the Warrior, a former CIA agent turned criminal freelancer, who stole the agency's computer database and is now going after undercover agents one by one.

Continuing our year long series of screening films that were released in the far-flung past year of 1996, this is the eleventh and penultimate installment of the Andy Sidaris Triple B series! Directed by Andy Sidaris (Hard Ticket to Hawaii, Picasso Trigger) and starring Kevin Light (Baywatch, Pauley) and Julie Strain (Penthouse Pet of the Month in June 1991, Heavy Metal 2000).

In early 2016 it all started with the dream of having an old school TV wall, the kind we all saw in our favorite 80's and 90's flicks. After a few trips to some local thrifts stores, I had more than enough old TVs and VCRs. It was about this time I came into a collection of a few thousand VHS tapes and not long after VHSANDCHILL nights were born. Every month or so we started showings of classic 80's and 90's movies. As these showings became more popular we began doing some theme showings and marathons. We enjoy watching these showings bring in people from every age group and all walks of life. VHS is dead. Long live VHS!
