Picture

When: Thursday, July 23rd, 8:00pm
Where: OKLAHOAM FILM EXCHANGE, 701 W SHERIDAN AVE
Price: PAY WHAT YOU CAN!

I've been hosting a series at OKLAHOMA FILM EXCHANGE called ROBOCOP AT 8PM ON A THURSDAY! For 6 months at OFX we've screened something from the ROBOCOP franchise. We went through the theatrical releases first, then we watched some stuff from the 1988 cartoon series and the 1994 & 2001 live-action TV shows. It was all things ROBOCOP!

This month is the finale and we're watched a hard-to-find 1990 Japanese Robocop inspired film LADY BATTLE COP! This movie is insane in all the best ways! I cannot wait to watch this with you all!

This will be presented on a horrible DVD copy as it's the best I could find within our price range. lol

THIS SHOW IS THE BIG ONE! The ROBOCOP MEGA PRIZE! so bring your ROBOCOP PUNCH CARD! You'll get an entry for each screening you attended and then we'll draw for the grand prize!

Pre-show cartoon starts at 7:30pm. Show starts at 8pm.

So, upload your PRIME DIRECTIVES, and DEAD OR ALIVE, you're coming with us!

In early 2016 it all started with the dream of having an old school TV wall, the kind we all saw in our favorite 80's and 90's flicks. After a few trips to some local thrifts stores, I had more than enough old TVs and VCRs. It was about this time I came into a collection of a few thousand VHS tapes and not long after VHSANDCHILL nights were born. Every month or so we started showings of classic 80's and 90's movies. As these showings became more popular we began doing some theme showings and marathons. We enjoy watching these showings bring in people from every age group and all walks of life. VHS is dead. Long live VHS!
