2025 is here and VHSANDCHILL OKC is resurrecting one of our classic screening series from days past - VHS GRINDHOUSE is back!

VHS GRINDHOUSE is a series of classic films that may or may not be the greatest films ever made! This VHS delights are pulled straight from the VHSANDCHILL OKC collection. Movies that DESERVE their day in court for the crimes committed TO them or BY them! These films will scream from the heavens the madness that is their message! We'll also have a fun giveaway!

Three generations of the same family deal with the consequences of unleashing the forces of hell. In 18th-century France, Paul L'Merchant (Bruce Ramsay) works as a toymaker until he's coerced into creating a box that serves as a portal between hell and Earth. The box summons demonic Angelique (Valentina Vargas) and Pinhead (Doug Bradley), who -- 200 years later -- hunt down John Merchant (Bruce Ramsay). Then, centuries later, Phillip Merchant (also Ramsay) prepares for a final confrontation.

1996 drops the 4th film in a beloved horror franchise. This was the last of this series that was released theatrically. It was also the last one (until the 2022 remake) that officially involved series creator Clive Barker. This movie brought the series to an epic level and has been praised as looking at Pinhead as a galactic-level threat. It had a terribly troubled production, with studio rewrites and edits. It was panned by critics and audiences alike. It was also voted by YOU to be the film we're going to watch in May.

Featuring a battle that rages across time, Adam Scott's first major film role, and more spikes and chains than you would ever want! 1996 delivers again as possibly one of the best year of film in history!

"What you think of as pain is a shadow. Pain has a face. Allow me to show it to you."
