This is the film that started the discussion of this entire series and is my selection for March. More than anything we really want to show you films that are connected to our hearts in one way or another. They were there during heartache and triumph. They stand out because they were crafted with pure emotion and feeling. Some of these might not be considered 'the best', but there is a connection. I fell in love with this 2006 dystopian trip of a film the very first time I saw it. This was director Richard Kelly's anticipated follow up to Donnie Darko and boy was it something. The cast for this thing was phenomenal! Dwayne Johnson, Seann William Scott, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Mandy Moore, Justin Timberlake, Miranda Richardson, Wallace Shawn, Bai Ling, Kevin Smith, John Larroquette, Amy Poehler, John Lovitz, Cheri Oteri, Curtis Armstrong, Will Sasso, and I could keep going! This 1995 cyber-thriller holds a very special place in my heart. This is one of those films I can watch at any time and see it over and over again. People have very much heard of this film, but how many of you have actually seen it? While a lot of this film may seem corny now, when it came out it was the very definition of cool. HACK THE PLANET!
