This is film series here in OKC where Raygun and I will present and discuss films that may have become LOST and FORGOTTEN. These movies some might consider MISFITS, but we know there is hidden beauty within. Welcome to the MISFIT MOVIE ZONE!

It might have been a while, but we're BACK! We're on to part 5 of this new 6-month series of screenings in which we delve into some of the lesser-known film greats.

We tried to show this back in 2023 and again this June, but you can't say we give up easy - so come hell or high water, we doing this screening! 

Sean Peel from VHSANDCHILL OKC selected a film that's very special to him. More than anything we really want to show you films that are connected to our hearts in one way or another. They were there during heartache and triumph. They stand out because they were crafted with pure emotion and feeling. Some of these might not be considered 'the best', but there is a connection.

Starring Shia LaBeouf, Evan Rachel Wood, and Mads Mikkelsen, this 2013 film deals with the subjects of love and loss, as well as hate and violence. Told by the ghost of his mother to visit Bucharest, Charlie Countryman enters into the hallucinatory, Romanian underworld filled with violence, and strangely enough, love.

"Love is passion, love is mystery, love is pain. Above all things else, love is pain. It's the same old story of love and the promise it holds, of life and of living it in love, and perhaps a little bit of death. Yes, just a splash of death."
